sQuid

sQuid is a new kind of cash; it's electronic money also known as eMoney, which you can use to buy the little things in life: coffee, newspapers, sandwiches, all those things you normally keep cash for.

sQuid uses a secure smart card, which can be used to store up to £100 in value.  sQuid means that you will no longer need all that change weighing down your pockets, instead use the card to buy small value items.

To make life even easier, you can pay for things by simply holding your sQuidcard against the contactless reader– a much faster payment method than cash or chip and PIN.

sQuid is launching in a number of UK locations. You'll soon be able to use it in Bolton, in the North West and eventually nation-wide.
