Java Developer
The Role:
Applied Card Technologies Limited is a global IT systems provider specialising in smart card transaction systems. Due to new contracts being awarded to us we are currently seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic software development team.
The successful candidate will be involved with the development of our products within transport, retail / hospitality and tourism industries. This is an exciting opportunity for recently graduated individuals to join this rapidly growing cutting edge smartcard industry.
The Person:
- Recently educated to degree level in a suitable technical discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Disciplined and organised.
- Keen team player.
Technical Skills:
- Experience of Java development.
- Optional experience of C++ development
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Unix/Linux
Additional interests in the following would be advantageous:
- Servlets, JSP, J2EE, Perl, Apache, HTML, XML, SOAP & other web technologies.
- Oracle, SQL Server or other relational database.
Package:
- A competitive package will be offered based on experience.
Notes:
- All vacancies are based from our Chippenham office in the UK. Therefore candidates are sought from Bristol, Bath and Swindon areas.
