sQuid - Bolton
Bolton Council has selected sQuid eMoney for its innovative smart citizen card programmes. Together with Bolton Council and local retailers, sQuid is working towards becoming the first UK eMoney service, which is independent of the banks - enabling anyone to own a sQuidcard and having no hidden or extra charges.
sQuid in Bolton is available on two cards. First, you can get a sQuidcard from any participating retailer in Bolton www.squidcard.com/map or online at www.squidcard.com/getacard. Once you receive your card, load it with value and you can use it straight away.
Secondly, sQuid’s eMoney wallet is available on smart cards issued by Bolton Council. In this case, all you need to do is register the card online at www.squidcard.com/register and you are ready to use the eMoney wallet.
