Cheshire Travelcard
In 2004 ACT was awarded the first UK contract to deliver an ITSO certified Full HOPS (AMS) and integrated Cardholder Management System (CMS) to manage the Cheshire County Council ITSO commercial and concessionary ticketing programme across all operators within the county.
The project enables a fully integrated travel experience for residents in and around Cheshire and surrounding cross border regions.
ACT provides the following ITSO ticketing products and services:
- HOPS (AMS) system
- ITSO compliant Cardholder Management System (CMS)
- HOPS integration to Cheshire Card personalization and issuing systems
- Integration to Wayfarer Transportation Systems ITSO ETM machine and systems
- Managed hosting and operational support services
- ISAM commissioning services
- Support for the 2008 Cheshire English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS)
- System Architecture design and project support
- Supporting bus operator roll out
December 2007 saw the first live deployment of ACT’s fully compliant HOPS (AMS) as part of Cheshire’s award-winning Travelcard ITSO ticketing solution.
D&G’s ticketing and Depot systems have been fully integrated with the Cheshire County Council ITSO HOPS (AMS) and ITSO-enabled Cardholder Management System (CMS) provided and managed by ACT.
First with low cost
Uniquely, Cheshire’s live deployment includes low-cost card media alongside conventional card media and products, as part of a research contract they are undertaking for Department for Transport (DfT).
