Bolton Smart
September 2006 saw Bolton Metopolitan Borough Council selecting ACT to deliver ITSO systems and services for their existing 'Bolton Smart' card.
Following successful integration and implementation of the ACT HOPS (AMS) connected to the inhouse Bolton smart card issuing systems, rollout of the service began November 2006 to an initial citizen card holder estate of 50,000 cards.
ACT provides the following products and services:
HOPS (AMS) system
HOPS (AMS) POST to HOPS Communications
HOPS (AMS) managed services
