ACT are Business of the Year
Applied Card Technologies (ACT) is delighted to announce that they are winners of the 2006 Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards. ACT’s innovative worldwide smart card technology combined with inhouse expertise, impressed the judges at this year’s awards and confi rmed a place in the 2006 finals. ACT was presented with the award on the 2nd March at the Business of the Year Awards gala dinner.
The multidisciplined panel of judges evaluated the ACT business, plans and people over a couple of months culminating on a final presentation to the panel by Gary Watts, Managing Director of ACT. The panel evaluated all angles of the ACT business which special attention to excellence in such categories as effective marketing, product and sales strategy, financial strength, employee training excellence, quality, relationships with customers, identity, aims and business planning.
Gary Watts, Managing Director comments ‘I am pleased to accept this award on behalf of all those at ACT. It is yet another example of employee excellence and hard work. 2006 was an important year for ACT as the company continues to grow and the increased importance and use of smart card systems is globally evident.
