ACT wins Wiltshire Business of the Year – International award
Chippenham 9 March 2010 - ACT (Applied Card Technologies Limited) is delighted to announce its success as winners of the Wiltshire Business of the Year 2009 – International award. ACT’s innovative approach to developing its business across multiple market sectors has been a key factor in growing its International business.
ACT specialises in the design, development, installation and operation of smart card transaction systems, serving the transport, retail, tourism, public sector and e-money markets, where efficient, dependable, transaction and customer handling is critical to business success.
ACT’s Managing Director, Gary Watts, was presented with the award at the Business of the Year Awards gala dinner, 25 February 2010. He commented, "Since 2002 ACT’s core company values of Innovation, Customer Focus, Quality, and People, have continued to drive ACT’s success and inspire a culture of continuous improvement. This award is yet another example of the hard work and commitment of ACT staff".
During the selection process, the multi-disciplined panel of judges evaluated ACT’s core business areas such as marketing, product and sales development, financial strength, employee engagement, quality, customer relationships and long term business strategy.
